There's been so much written about this classic movie that I won't bother to write too much more. The movie looks surprisingly fresh for being over 40 years old (especially the blu-ray version). It doesn't look old.      With that said, the movie isn't as funny as I had expected or hoped. This is one of my all time favorite movies.  I can watch it over and over again and it seems every time I notice something new, some clever camera angle or funny comment I missed before.  The film is both poignant and funny, wrapped around a charming love story.  All of the characters feel real and represent the kaleidoscope of opinions and emotions of the late '60s, and its this contrast that delivers the humorous situations and dialogue so persistent throughout the film.    Oh, …

This classic film from director Mike Nichols, his second movie after the great 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf', may have lost its strength in some scenes but other great moments make up for that.
