This movie was funny as hell. It really is the Bachelor Party of the 2000s, which I also loved. If you like comedies like this it deserves a spot in the DVD collection because it is one you will watch over and over.

Everytime I hear of a movie just being over the top hilarious I find that I am very disappointed and the Hangover was no exception. The first time I watched it I laughed harder when my boxer fell off the couch after being in a deep sleep. Watching this movie I was trying to compare it to other comedies I have seen.  I guess it similar in humor type to the first National Lampoon Vacation film with both serious and silly mixed in.      The movie is one of those that begins showing you the near ending of the movie where a guy is calling the fiancee of his friend to tell her that her husband to be will not be showing up to their wedding which is due to start in five hours.  Most of the rest of the movie …

is another puerile comedy - nothing more, nothing less. It's certainly better than most comedies out there today. I'd give it 3.5-4 stars overall. It is funny and has some classic moments - tiger in the bathroom, the Holocaust ring, etc. Zach Galifianakis was particularly hilarious ("I didn't know they gave rings out at the Holocaust"). There are a lot of movies about bachelor parties, but this is probably the funniest. Taking place in Las Vegas, this movie is about all the stuff that four guys can get themselves into when they are not thinking straight. No way, this is not the funniest movie ever made. It is a very funny movie. It is crude and slapstick like the Three Stooges. I'm not sure this film is worth watching more than once. My husband and I found this movie to be very hilarious. What I like about its basically one movie that goes from one crazy event to another. Yet it doesn't loose it's focus on its main plot and also knows to find the time to work on its characters as well. The characters are all being handled and build-up well into the movie. The concept was so much better than the story, some but not close to all the things you hoped for were in this movie. They should have let Zach G. off the leash more that guy is a star and naturally halarious. Too bad the best part of the movie was the credits, i'd wait for dvd but definately a watch.
