A cheesy and fun patchwork edit of "Lisa and the Devil".

Lisa Reiner (Elke Sommer) has been taken to the hospital.  She's in a real foul mood, swearing and cursing like a sailor. Nobody seems to know what's wrong with her. After screaming at the hospital staff and making a mess of everything, she strapped down to a gurney whilst the hospital staff tries to deal with her bizarre behavior. A Catholic priest (Robert Alda) is brought in to quell the violent and repulsive Lisa.
She has been possessed by a vengeful spirit who wont rest until she has been avenged.  Confused and perplexed by the spirit's mind games, the priest listens to her story and tries to piece things together.  Will
the priest exorcise the spirit?  Why did the spirit possess Lisa?  Can the priest help her and the spirit?

The House of Exorcism is an interesting patch work film. After the disappointing attendance figures for LISA AND THE DEVIL,  Producer Alfredo Leone re-shot and incorporated new footage into making the movie into an Exorcist knockoff. The ploy worked and Leone made his money back plus a profit.  I really enjoy this weird movie.  The spirit is mean and nasty.  She says things that put Pazul to shame.  The film is nowhere near as classy or great as "Lisa and the Devil", but it's a lot of fun.  The best of the Exorcist knock offs.

Highly recommended for cheesy fun.
