I first watched this movie when I was young and was with a group of boys my age. We LOVED the opening scence where the naked women were swimming underwater with their breasts moving. However, that was quickly forgotten when the action began. The personal rocket pack remains the all-time coolest Bond gadget and the action was intense. Watching the movie again I was struck by the quality of the dialog, at times Bond seems to be parodying himself. It is as if he doesn't take himself seriously, …

Ever since I was a young boy I have always been enamored by fine watches.  So, ever since I was a kid, one of the alluring elements of Bond movies for me was to observe which types of watches were being used, especially by Bond.  As I matured I found that I share many of Bond’s predilections for enjoying the “finest” things life has to offer.  I think a fine watch is part of the character makeup for depicting Bond as a suave and “smooth operator.”  …

Maybe it's waterlogged but it still remains awesome.
Following the mega success of Goldfinger in 64 had the world in Bond and Spy mania in 65.  How big was Thunderball?  Adjusted for inflation, Thunderball made anywhere between $515 to $800 million back in 65 in 21st century dollars.  Is the movie as good?  Eh.  It's not as good as Goldfinger but it's certainly not awful.      Bond is getting himself into shape at a health clinic while the evil S.P.E.T.R.E. organization's number 1 agent Emilio …
