My Top 10 Action Scenes

I have some diverse choices. It's difficult to pin down the absolutely top 10 of all time but here's what came to mind. In no particular order and with some thought to psychological tension, especially in my first choice. Please note some of these are gorey and not safe for work consumption or very genteel sensibilities: V for Vendetta - so much action in this film but there is a climax! Bullets, blood squibs and bone crunching action! My favorite action scenes.

The Wild Bunch (1969) The final gunfight inside the Generalissimo's compound as Lyle, Tector and Pike take turns firing a Maxim Machine Gun, blood and bullets fly and the corpses pile.
