I remember seeing the original Toy Story when I was just 9 years old when life was so much simpler and the adventure of Toy Story provided some welcome entertainment. 15 years later and we now have Toy Story 3; life is a lot more complicated, but Toy Story 3 isn't just casual entertainment, it becomes a welcome escapism reminiscent of a childhood long gone. There was no doubt whatsoever that this film would be a success as the franchise had built up quite a following. Every adults inner child would …

Lots of fun and delightfully animated. The best reason to watch this, however, is the wonderful animated short that it opens with. It's called "Night and Day" and it's one of the most lovely and inventive animated short films I've seen.

Toy story 3 is a fine finish to the franchise a movie that tugs at every possible heartstring that exists, and adds just enough drama to make it unforgettable.    Andy is going off to college and it becomes D-Day for the toys, who will end up in the attic, who will be donated, who will be trashed and what lucky few will come with him?    There are several excellent scenes, and a few adult gags involving fashion. The initial pre-school & "Latin lover" scenes …

Toy Story 3 is a bittersweet recollection of what it's like to grow up and forget, then rediscover things we hold dear to our heart.

This is what's so golden about Toy Story 3. The characters are the same, but the movie still manages to feel fresh and original at what it does. Not because of introducing new characters... but because the situation here is totally different from either Toy Story. Sure you still get a couple of inside jokes, but it's still a totally different story all together. If anything, Toy Story 3 does have to be given credit for being able to push the series in such a different direction. It's a totally different, …

I wonder how many of these they'll make when it's all said and done. 10? 25? 347?

Fun and entertaining but doesn't hold much water. In other words; Pixar holds up to what you'd expect but it doesn't quite compare, story-wise, to their other cinematic productions.

The only thing I didn't like about Toy Story 3 was that it made me sad at times, but ultimately that's a compliment that the storytelling was brilliant, true and heartfelt. The animation is unbelievable. However, if, like me, you recently released your childhood toys at a garage sale, bring tissues. You'll feel guilty. I'm sorry, My Little Ponies. I'm sorry, Strawberry Shortcake.

This movie is a must for any that love animation, Pixar Studios and or Toy Story. I am a parent and it really hits home watching the transition between Toy Story 1, 2 and 3. What a show!

I was a 12 when Pixar first created the computer generated, animated world of Andy's room. It was amazing, if you remember, watching the perilous journey of Buzz and Woody as they faced unspeakable dangers (including Sid's morbid in-sanitarium) as they made their way back to their bright-eyed owner, Andy. Buzz realizes that he can't fly, and Woody succumbs to the fact that Andy can have two favorite pals. Four years later, in 1999, the toys faced a new chicken suit wearing foe at Al's toy barn, …

TOY STORY 3 is an awesome movie! Hilarious & heartbreaking. Witty & wise. A must-see.    That opening paragraph ought to be enough, but in case you need more, I'll try. Honestly, though, it is a bit tough, because this movie delighted me on a much more personal and visceral level than most. If you were a fan of the first two films (and I am HUGE fan), then TOY STORY 3 is a near perfect culmination and summation of both the surface stories of these beloved characters and the deeper …

Ultimately, Toy Story 3 didn't disappoint... not in the least. This third and final (?) installment is easily the most emotionally resonant, sophisticated, and technically impressive of the series. I find myself still preferring the 1995 original film because of the way in which we, as audience members, were introduced to the characters, but this third film certainly outdoes Toy Story 2. It's somewhat bittersweet to have reached what is likely the end to such a great series.
