This is a somewhat "run of the mill" romantic comedy with actors who deserved a better script. I thought that Cameron Diaz was extremely convincing as Joy, an uptight stockbroker who needs to break free, and that Ashton Kutcher was the ideal Jack as required for the role. Dennis Miller as Judge Whopper, Queen Latifah as Dr. Twitchell and Dennis Farinha as Richard "Dick" Banger had only small roles, but the names of their characters alone gives you a hint at the level of comedy in the movie.

It does have funny moments, but also awkward moments, and some absolutely gross moments, but overall the verdict is "rent, don't buy"

All the same, don't blame the actors, blame the script.
