Zatoichi is a fine example of the brilliant film making of actor/ writer/ director Takeshi Kitano. His adaptation of the blind masseur/ vigilante Ichi Zatoichi is awesome. Kitano shows why he's still one of the baddest dudes around. He gives the blind masseur a new depth that the previous one never had. Not only is he comical and witty, but he's a killing machine that is smooth as velvet but deadly as night shade.      The wandering masseur bumps his way into a town that is plagued …
