Ms. Keyshia Cole's "A Different Me" Concert

Well a couple of weeks ago my mom surprised me by taking me to see Ms. Keyshia Cole in concert at the Nokia in Downtown LA. And I must say that the concert was great!!!

The concert started off with Keri Hilson but I wasn't able to see her perform because I had to rush there after work but I did talk to some people and they said she did a pretty good job and didn't take too long between set changes. But, even though I missed her performance I was able to see The Dream and I have to say that he surprised me because I honestly didn't think he could sing good live but he did! Plus he was hitting all of his high notes and did do a couple of R. Kelly dry hump moves which for some reason got all the girls next to me super excited to where their jumping up and down screaming "oh my god" "oh my god" and my mom and i looked at each other thinking like did we miss something because it was kinda corny. But what wasn't so corny was when he performed my favorite songs "10" "Walking on the Moon( so reminiscent of Michael Jackson)" "Falsetto" "I Love Your Girl" and "Purple Kisses". So he did his thing and he is someone I would most definitely check out in concert again as long as he leaves out the air humping......

Now when Keyshia stepped out on onstage everyone was already hyped by the previous performers which I think is good because it keeps the energy level up. She started off by doing one of my favorites from her first album "Changed My Mind" featuring Kanye West and from then on it was nothing but the hits off of her second and third albums. She even had special guests,  Diddy, Lil Kim, Monica, Too Short, Vida, and last but not least my all time favorite rapper Nas (and yes i did have a oh my god moment and then i digressed). Her performances transitioned so smoothly that i didn't realize that she had been on the stage for over an hour because she had everyone that in tuned. And i must say that the girl can sang not sing but sang. So i would definitely recommend any and everyone to check her out in concert because it is well worth it.
