I heard several tracks of this cd in a local store and I was immediately drawn to it. The musicality is quirky and lively. Overall, the feeling is like an initmate recording; just the musicians and a couple of odd friends, surrounded by an evening's smattering of empty beer bottles. The songs are not the typical over worked stuff you hear on the radio. It's very down home. In fact the lack of "studio polish" makes it much more interesting and homey. It's probably not for everyone, but I like it.
