Not a bad deal

I purchased a deal on Groupon for this place which included chiropractic work or acupuncture and a 50 minute massage for $65. Definitely a good price. For the most part I was satisifed but here are some pros and cons-

Pros:
  1. The chiropractic work was excellent. I got some e-stim and the chiropractor was quick and efficient and I felt better immediately after the treatment.
  2. The fish tank in the waiting area is pretty amazing. It's a salt water tank with some colorful fish.
  3. Calling in: The receptionist was extremely busy when I went but when I called, she handled things extremely well so booking was not a problem at all.
  4. Price: The price was definitely reasonable and a great deal with the groupon.
Cons:
  1. The massage was only satisfactory. I had actually asked to get some work done on my quads but the masseuse didn't get around to it. For massages I think I'll stick to ones I can get in the San Gabriel Valley for 60 minutes and a cheaper rate.
  2. Parking was confusing, not a major problem but just a little confusing at first since it's in the back.
So for me, the pros outweigh the cons but I don't see myself returning unless there's another groupon deal. This spot is a little bit out of the way for me and like I mentioned, I can get the same type of treatment at a cheaper price in the San Gabriel Valley.

I've not bought a thing from Groupon yet. I probably would one day, but for now, I prefer to stick to familiar territories when it comes to massages :-)

Yea, definitely going to my usual places for massages. The more painful ones seem to work much better for me haha =)

You remind me of my friend's son who's 21 this year. We took him for his first massage and guess what he said! He loves pain! LOL

Hahah, I figure that's how you know it's effective! No pain for massage or exercise feels ineffective =P
