Have used AVG products for years and I trust them, provides very good protection for a reasonable cost

I have used the free version of AVG Antivirus for years and I trust it to protect my PC from virus attacks. AVG Internet Security gives the same level of virus protection and a lot more. This program will protect your PC from viruses, spyware and malware with frequent and automatic definition updates. I have used several different antivirus programs that have taken 4-6 hours to run a system scan so I was very pleased to see that this program only took just over an hour to complete.
I have a new laptop and it hasn't slowed it down at all as far as I can tell.
It also helps to protect you while you are online with automatic link checking that checks websites to make sure there are no threats found before you actually visit them. I really like this feature because my kids play a lot of games online and they have went to websites before that have infected our PC with viruses.
You can also allow it to scan your email for spam and automatically delete the spam emails or move them to a separate folder for review at a later time.
It also has firewall to block unauthorized access to your PC. Within 2 hours of installing the software it had already block unauthorized access over 300 times.
This program can also monitor while you are on social networks like facebook. It will check to make sure that facebook application that you are about to run doesn't contain any threats.
Its identity protection feature will make sure that any banking account or credit card information is secure when being transmitted online while making purchases.
The only thing that I didn't like about this program was that it will supposedly scan your PC for registry errors and it said there were over 600 of them but it won't fix them. In order to fix them you must down and purchase another program. Frankly I think this part of the software is a scam and have chosen to ignore it. We have a fairly new laptop and have had no problem with it at all so I find it a little unlikely that there are so many registry errors. Plus I have run into this before with other programs and one program will find hundreds even thousands of errors and the next program will only find a few.
This software is valid for one year and then it will expire and you will be forced to purchase a renewal.
Other than that I really like the software for the price and I trust AVG and I recommend them to my family and friends.
