Complicated for a newbie

I've been meaning to review this for some time, but finally realized I'm never going to find the time to figure out how to use it. I would like to be able to do something with my photos besides organize them into albums, delete the bad ones and crop occasionally. But I feel like I'm groping in the dark. This is not an instinctive program and while I know it's powerful (from others who use it), if you don't have time to spend learning it, then forget it.
