Heats very well and is a cool design but is a bit loud
Oct 4, 2011
With the weather quickly getting colder, I decided to give this portable ceramic heater a try. It can put out a surprising amount of heat for its size. This is the largest ceramic heater that I have seen so far and it can put out a lot more heat than most other similar style heaters. The lower level of our house is about 1000 square feet and it can heat it quite well. This heater will consume about 1500 watts of electricity when you are running both sides of the unit.
You can detach one side and have them both in different areas of the room which is a really cool option to have. You can turn on only the left side, right side or both at the same time.
It also has a thermostat that you can set but I wouldn't suggest letting it run all night while you are asleep because the front of this heater gets sizzling hot and could be a fire hazard. I also wouldn't use this heater around a baby or toddler that might touch it and burn themselves.
My only complaint is that it's on the loud side. It doesn't really bother me much but both my Wife and Kids have commented about how loud it is. Overall I really like this heater a lot and I would highly recommend it.
