A good spray for nail polish klutzes like me who just can't stay still!
Jan 26, 2010
Pros: Dries nails fast, shines nails, conditions cuticles, doesn't spill
Cons: Oily, spray bottle is a bit weird, may be discontinued
The Bottom Line: Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray dries nails quickly without bubbling. The spray bottle is a little wasteful but the formula works. Hard to find now though.
I made an order with Avon.com several weeks ago and have been trying things out as I need them. I recently tried Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray and like it. It works well for klutzes like me who can't stay still long enough for their nail polish to dry. About the Product Freeze-dries nail enamel in 30 seconds. Just spray over wet nails....Helps prevent smudges and nicks.
This 2 ounce plastic bottle has a pump top and the product sprays out in a fine mist. It has a light, pleasant odor and a slightly greasy feel.
I keep my nails fairly short because I type a lot and because they always break. I do, however, like to apply pretty polish on my fingernails. It seems, no matter how careful I am when I apply polish, I end up messing it up before it dries by moving around too much. I am not one to stay still for long.
I love Ulta's fast dry drops to freeze my polish but I decided to giveAvon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray a try.
After I polished my nails,I waited a few moments then sprayed the product on each nail. Some of the clear spray got on my fingers and hands leading me wonder why it was a spray at all. Still, after spraying my nails, I could see a high sheen and my nail polish was dry very quickly.
The formula is slightly oily but that's only an issue if you spray it on clothing or other fabrics. When my nails are dry, I wipe off my hands or rinse them in very cold water to further harden the polish and I'm good to go.
I really like the formula of Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray but am not sure spraying the nails is the best way to apply it. I find that using a dropped type bottle of product works better for me.
I will use what I have and would repurchase if I could find it. The Avon page says that that this product isn't available at this time. It is, however, on eBay of course. I wouldn't go crazy looking for it but, if I did find it at a reasonable price, i would pick up more.
I can't recall exactly hwo much I paid for Avon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray. It was around $4.00, I believe. It is not selling on Avon.com at the moment and I'm not sure if it will reappear They may be changing packaging which would be welcome. It was there just weeks ago. I saw it on a couple of closeouts sites and on eBay as well for various prices. Conclusion
I like the effectiveness ofAvon Nail Experts Liquid Freeze Quick Dry Spray. It is easy to use although some product is wasted by spraying each nail. The formula actually conditions my cuticles though so I'm not complaining. This product hastens nail polish drying and leaves a high sheen behind. I hope Avon didn't permanently discontinue it because it really does work well. I give it 4 stars. The spray bottle is a tad funky but the results are worth it.
