Pros: Very durable and can be used for large parties.

Cons: If you are to rough, it will rip.

The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this if you would want a successful party.

This looks like the ideal summer toy for your kids, but this could be a headache for you because there is a lot of work involved in watching the kids so they do not get hurt. This initially came out in 2006 and was a nominee for toy of the year award. Since then, I just happened to find this at Toys R Us for the on-sale price of $150.00. My wife and I, thought that was a steal and purchased it, then we took it home and we were an instant hit with all of our daughters’ friends.

Description
This water slide is quite large and will take up a lot of your yard space. This will come with a GfCI blower motor to inflate this with, for safety. The total length of this slide is 18’- 6”, this is 60” wide and 6’ tall. It is blue, green, and red in color. The arch at the top are three tubes that the kids will go through when they climb to the top of the slide and it will shower them with water as they slide down the slide and then end up in a pool of water. The whole unit is made of PVC-coated plastic 420D terylene to add to the strength and life long lasting ability (this is called Dura-tech construction) and the total weight is approximately sixty pounds. The surface of the slide surface is just like sliding on a tarp, everything is coated with PVC polyester. This has netting that the kids will use to climb up to the top; every step is reinforced to allow these to last. These also have extra water bags strategically placed that will help with the stabilization of the slide. These are also made with extra reinforcement material to help from being damaged. If you are worried if the kids are able to carry the blower, then do not worry because this has two stakes that will hold onto place. A 12” blower motor will help inflate this slide in less than two minutes. This is very large so they also give you a carrying case, in case you wish to take this to another location. You will probably use all of the ten ground stakes that they give you.

Experience
We have been using this for a couple of years and have had only a couple of tears to repair. When we had our daughters’ baptism, we had a very large yard celebration and this came handy. Since we did not want to sit and entertain the kids, we let them do the entertaining. This ting inflated so fast that we did not even have time to hook up the garden hose to it. It was a real success; the only thing that we had to do is limit how many kids were in this at one time. There were even bigger kids that wanted to join in on the fun, so as long as they did not get to frisky with each other, then everything was fine. The recommended age limit for this is from 5 - 15 years of age and the weight limit is 200 pounds. Sometimes the bigger kids would just sit at the bottom end and catch the little kids as they came down. The kids played from the time we set this up, until well into the night.

We had to keep checking to make sure that there were no leaks, and whether or not, the kids had messed with the blower. We did have to lay down many ground rules so that the bigger kids did not hurt the little kids. They just loved the fact that the water sprayed out at the top. The other thing that we had to do was is call the company to ask what to do in case we get a tear that we cannot repair. They said, to let them know and they would send us another one. We not only use this for parties, we also use this for everyday use. This keeps our children and their friends busy for hours.

Warranty
After talking to the company about the possibility of a tear that we could not repair, we were satisfied to the fact that this company has a good warranty. Their customer department was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk too.

Conclusion
If they would had any of these left after we purchased this one then we would have went back and got another one. The hours of fun and entertainment that this provided were priceless. As long as no one got hurt while playing, I would consider this a success when it comes to having a party with this. The carrying case comes in very handy after you are done using this for the summer. Once you have dried this off just make sure that you roll this up neatly to be able to fit it all in the bag
