Pros: Lots of power in a little package.

Cons: If dropped you may crack the container.

The Bottom Line: This will come in very handy for the time when you are in a hurry.

Just like all of the dust busters on today’s market they all lack the part about sucking up water and wet material. That is until I found this one. Black and Decker have been around for years and I have always had good luck with all of their tools. Before I purchased this one from Black and Decker, I had a Craftsman 12v one sitting on my counter all of the time. This one never failed me but, there were times that something would get spilled and I would need one that would suck up a wet spill.
Description
You can usually find this brand name at just about any store. We found this one at K-Mart for twenty dollars. This model is just less than 18” long and weighs a little over 2 pounds. The 7.2 motor that this has is for the most part quiet running and has sufficient power. The sleek blue and white design is very attractive looking. Unlike the Craftsman model where you have to install the battery every time that you want to use it, this one has a base that you sit it into. This makes for easier handling. Also, this model has a twist off basket, that when filled all you have to do is just twist and dump.
Uses
Our dogs just love to take their food out of their bowl and eat it on the floor. This makes quite a mess sometimes, especially when you do not see the ones that they miss and don’t decide to eat. This is when you give a little holler at them and tell them to eat all of their food. The other thing that this has helped with is when they decide to get a drink and dribble water all over the floor. This has enough power to suck up all of those little pieces of food and those little water droplets. The little squeegee head that this has does a fine job for water. But, if some soda gets spilled then you will need to use a damp cloth after you suck up the spill. This way you don’t have to worry about the floor being sticky. As long as you put this back in the base then you should never have to worry about a dead or low battery. This also comes in handy for those stairs that seem to accumulate all of your favorite dust bunnies plus when you dread dragging the vacuum up and down the stairs all the time.
Warranty
This comes with a 2 year limited warranty, which I have yet to have to use.
Conclusion
With the addition of sucking up wet stuff this makes an excellent dust buster. It turns a big tedious job into a small one. There is a little bit of noise when you first turn it on but you get used to that. I think that you might want to look into this model if you need something for those wet spills.
