The only time I want an ant in my ear!

So I live in California, where the law says that you cannot take calls on your cell phone when you're driving. I assume this is in result of the multiple accidents caused by drivers that chose to focus more on their phone rather than getting to their destinations...you know..whatever! It's going to happen with a handy technology like the cell phone.

And then enter stage left, the BlueTooth, the answer to all our driving needs. Well, it took me a while to get a BlueTooth because I actually didn't ever need to be on the phone while I was driving. There was nothing that couldn't wait until I got somewhere; until of course I started having a lot of con call meetings after I began working remotely. It was time to become one of those people with a blinking ear. However, to set things straight ahead of time, I ONLY use it when in con calls or driving.

Anyway, I went to Fry's and it was really hard to sift through the jungle of various types. I don't want to spend $200 on a BlueTooth and I also don't want to spend $20 and not be able to hear anyone or get a lot of outside noise. To my surprise the guy in that area was very well knowledgeable about all the earpieces.

We all know the Jawbone is sleek, classy looking, professional and highly effecient, but who wants to spend $130 on an earpiece, well I don't! That's when the guy directed me to the BlueAnt. He informed me that if I wanted quality at a significantly cheaper price this little black thing was the way to go.

It looked pretty dinky next to Jawbone. A delicate little black earpiece, $40 with all the features that I needed to run a successful call while driving. This little Ant has a the best battery life and has never failed me. It also doesn't look as obnoxious as some of the other ear pieces. Actually with my hair down, you can't even notice it and the sound quality is excellent. It's no Bose sound system, but good quality for professional phone calls and the ear piece goes comfortably around your ear on either side. So...done and done!

Take my advice (and the guy from Fry's), save yourself some money and get good quality by purchasing the BlueAnt. Just don't lose this little guy, you'll be very sad.
