Works great for prevention if you know you'll be in a crowd during flu season and also really good to take at the first onset of fever/chills. In our experience it stops the illness from progressing and makes it go away before it has a chance to get a hold of you (in 24-48 hours). Once you're really sick though, like a couple of days, it isn't as effective. This is something to have in your medicine cabinet all the time, because you don't want to go out and buy it when you're actually already sick!
