This fan is very quiet (so far) and delivers good airflow over the entire area of your memory which is a good feature. I like the 3-fan design, and find in the overall scheme of my computer's multiple fans, it's inaudible. Take notice that this fan clamps fairly loosely over the memory clips, which is perfectly acceptable in a desktop you do not plan on moving around very much. However, if the case were shaken along the wrong axis, I think it could probably come loose.

Instructions are basically pictures which is plenty, because this was a snap to assemble (4 thumb screws and plug in the fan power and that's it). This fan runs off your motherboard, so there's no need for a Molinex connector.
