In January, 2006, after having just completed a master's in occupational therapy, Ruth Levine was diagosed with stage IV colorectal cancer. Along with conventional treatment, she utilitzed exercise, nutrition, laughter therapy, imagery and reiki to overcome it. This is her story of the journey.
I very much believe that there's a reason for everything. Sometimes, especially during the really tough challenges that life seems to throw at us, it's just so very hard to see the hidden gift.
