Pros: Yummy affordable treats for the whole family.
In the world of store-front ice cream vendors Dairy Queen is King, having been in business since 1940. From humble beginnings the chain has grown to over 5700 establishments in 22 countries not including the U.S. and Canada. In and around my city alone there are three DQs within a ten mile radius.
For me DQ will always be associated with rich creamy vanilla or chocolate ice cream. The chain has since branched out and now serves burgers, hot dogs and fries, but ice cream is their claim to fame. And DQ does that well. Going to DQ for a monthly Blizzard is a treat for the family. Mixed with Oreo cookies, M&M, cookie dough, heath bars, etc, DQ Blizzards (they can be had in three sizes) are a yummy treat on a hot summer day. Of course DQ also serves banana splits, sundaes, ice cream cakes, and other traditional ice cream treats, but the Blizzard is by far my favorite.
