Moving cross-country can feel a bit like moving between worlds, but the narrator of this novel finds herself accidentally transported through a haze of curious lights after the move, and she’s not in LA anymore. Soon Molly’s falling for a boy who might be an alien. Her father’s only just released her from GPS tracking, which causes her to wonder, what will he think? And her new earth-friends are too Hollywood beautiful with their heads in the clouds to be much help.   …
