Your Child Will Have A Highflying Time WithThis Toy.

Pros: Very durable and easy to assemble.

Cons: Can get costly if you let it.

The Bottom Line: I can highly recommend this one to keep your child's interest for hours.

My wife and I are always on the lookout for a good product to keep our grandchildren’s interest from turning into a day of boredom.  We have seen this type of rail system at many stores, mostly Toys Are Us is where we see all of our Fisher Price toys.  They have been in business for over 30 years and have produced all kinds of wooden toys to electronic toys.  This particular toy is not so much wooden as it is a very durable plastic toy that will keep your child’s mind occupied for hours.  You can find this on the Internet at Amazon .Com or Toys R us.com.  For right around $40 to $50.00.  You will require six AA batteries to get this working.
This comes with a remote control airplane that you can either operate by the control or you can hit the button that is located on top of the airplane to get it to go.  There is some assembly required which will only take you 5 to 10 minutes.  This Airport is approximately 23 inches wide and 32 inches in height.  It also has an elevator that your child can operate, by lifting up for more pretend Airport action.  The remote control that operates the airplane is also the shape of a genuine steering wheel of an airplane.  Once you have assembled and this whole setup, all you have to do is clip the radio controlled airplane to the very durable track and you can watch it go up and down and all around.  This also comes included with three bays for fuel up and fix up areas.  There is also a platform located on the side that you can pretend to push to train in rail car for loading and this also has a miniature cargo crane part more pretend action.  For any additions to this setup that you might want, they have them but it can get very expensive once you get started collecting this set.
We have eight grandkids that are always fighting over the different toys that we have in our collection and they will spend hours playing with this even though the box says that the age limit on this is from 3 to 5 years.  With this Airport structure being approximately 2 feet tall you will need a little bit of room to set this up, but your child will have a ball passing that time pretending that they were at an Airport.  This is made up of a very durable and pliable plastic.  It cleans up with just the wipe of a damp cloth.  The airplane opens up and will allow the installation of their little man to fit into the cockpit.  The track that forms a figure eight around the whole control tower has ridges all the way up through the center that the airplane can climb on.  Your child will have never thought it would be so fun and as long as you can keep adding to this.  You can add ground track and more air track, this way your child will not have any problem keeping their interest on this toy.
If it says fisher price on it and then you will not have to worry about the quality of your product.  This is not a bad investment as long as you can keep it in one piece and keep your children interested in this.  You will notice that the children will like to carry this around and move it around a lot, still sometimes it will not stay in one piece.  So, we have reverted to crazy gluing some of the parts together to keep this in one piece so it will not fall apart.  Other than that, we have found this to keep our child’s interest for hours of fun.
