Retro Timer Works For Me

My wife and I picked one of these up at a local BB&B a couple of weeks ago and have used it almost daily with none of the issues I've read other owners complain about. Perhaps some users do not do a full turn to 55 minutes before putting it back to the desired starting point. I've had a number of timers in my day and the older ones needed this sort of priming to work properly and accurately. I suspect that there are also a number of lemons in circulation as well. They don't make them like they used to, and these timers are mass produced in China. If you are unfortunate enough to get a improperly functioning unit, then it has been suggested that you contact the the distributor directly for a replacement (Fox Run Craftsmen).

I can only speak for the one I own. It works as it should and has a clean, round retro styling that I find appealing. It rings pleasantly for about 5 seconds when it reaches 0. The timer securely attaches via its magnet to my refrigerator and to my stove. If you have stainless steel appliances I suspect you'll probably want to look elsewhere. Mine is the red model.

Hah, thanks Devora. Your comments always bring a smile to my face. And I don't think you can stick an iPhone to your fridge. Yet. ;)
