I picked up this $50 hand cream on a whim, and because I decided I needed a bit of pampering. Unfortunately, its effects are far from luxurious. The lotion sits on my skin like a film, but doesn't really absorb much at all. Within an hour or so, it's like I haven't even applied it on b/c my hands still feel chapped in the winter air.
The scent, however, is divine. It makes my hands smell as if I've just been cutting up peaches drenched in sake. It's not a cloyingly sweet smell (like most drugstore lotions that smell like some baked good), but fresh and subtle.
Unfortunately, the scent alone is not enough to justify the price, so I won't be buying another tube of this stuff. I feel gypped!
