An adjustable, versatile helmet for infants and toddlers

When we had the opportunity to review the iBert Safe-T seat for our toddler, we were on the hunt for the best, most comfortable helmet for our daughter. We went to a huge sports store in the area to try some on and were very disappointed with the prices and poor selection. We were thinking "but how can you buy a helmet without trying it on?" Then we turned to reading reviews by other parents online and it seemed that everyone raved about the Giro Me2. So we took the plunge and bought it on Amazon. It arrived just in time for our inaugural ride on the Minuteman Bikeway.

It was love at first fit. It is so easy to adjust that we could do it while it is on the toddler's head. It fit our two year old perfectly with room to grow. You have to play around with the straps a little to get them comfortable around the ears, but that is about the only thing that needed a little tinkering. It surpassed other helmets we saw at the store in all aspect by a long shot.

I really appreciated finding a helmet without any cartoon characters on it! Seriously people, are the designers so dumb they can't come up with anything original? I love the yellow chicks design. Gender neutral, funky, simple, what more can a parent ask for? I wish they also had the option of solid colors, but this will do.

We bought ours for under $30 and it shipped free from Amazon, which is a great deal. The competition at the sports store was priced at thirty and above, so it isn't like we would have saved any money if we bought there anyway.

I would highly recommend the Giro Me2 for infants and toddlers if you are looking for a comfortable fit for your baby. Don't hesitate just because it is an online purchase! We did for a minute, but we're very happy with this purchase. Feel free to ask me any more questions about it if you're contemplating buying one!
