Pros: Very good for your pets.

Cons: A little on the expensive side.

The Bottom Line: If you love your pet then give this a try. I highly recommend. Give it more than a month though.

I have been buying Science Diet for several years. You can get it from a lot of places especially Pet Smart or Petco. The price usually ranges from thirty to forty dollars. Sometimes you can use your reward points and it will save you quite a bit of money at the register.

I used to buy any type of dog food at my neighborhood grocery store and the cheapest I could find on the market. As I soon found out, cheaper is not always better. I noticed after a while of giving Science Diet to my pets their coat was a lot shinier and they did not shed as much. They did seem a little more active.

When you have 3 dogs like we do, it is good to try and put them all on the same food. If you can, it will be cheaper in the long run. Science diet is good for keeping the bones, joints, and muscles healthy. This total nutrition that this dog food has is the best that I have seen. Let me tell you I have tried just about all of them. I also noticed that they had extremely whiter teeth, and sometimes their breath did not smell as bad. I don't think that they get sick as much. Their skin and coat is also very sharp looking.

If you love your animals why not try this and see if you notice a change in the way they look and feel. I know that when the puppy is in it's first year they need all the nutrition that they can get. Science diet is the food for them.

It must be pretty good, just look at all of the Vets you go into. They all have the same food for sale. Most of all the vets that I know recommend this dog food. Besides, Science Diet will give you 100 percent guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.

You can buy this in several size bags available, and they only have a few types of flavors. As far as I know they have Lamb and rice, and lamb and chicken, and original. Once your puppy reaches a certain age you will need to put them on a different type of food because of the ingredients in the dog food. As a dog gets older they need different supplements to help them grow and stay healthy, and Science Diet is there to help you.

If you are lucky enough where you don't have to measure out your dogs dog food like I do. Well, Science Diet is also there to help you out. On the side of the bag there is a weight guide that you can go by, so that your pet does not over eat. Just remember that this should be just a starting point. You may have to ask your vet if you can not get it under control. If you want you can also get a little creative and mix a little bit of water with the dry food as a treat. My dogs love it. It looks like gravy and they just lap it up. It will take more than just one bag to notice any difference. It took about 6 months or more before I noticed anything.
