Once you start using Pledge you will never go back to the off brand names. Having trouble with allergies? Then now is the time of the year to take action against those buggers. If you do dusting, then most of the time all you are doing is moving the dust particles around from one spot to the other. But, if you put something on your rag, before you start to dust, then it can collect on the rag instead of just being pushed aside. The big question remains, with so many products on the market, which one do you trust. Well, the cheaper the better is usually the way to go in my book.

Pledge (SC Johnson) has been around for over 120 years and has several products related to their name. Along with "Pledge", they also make "Windex", "Mr. Muscle", "Scrubbing Bubbles", "Glade", "Raid", "Off", "Baygon", and "Ziploc". I have been using a lot of these products throughout my lifetime. A lot of these are cleaning products, but there is also an equal amount of fragrant products to choose from.

Whenever we go to the beach or outdoors in the summer, we use their products to reduce the affects of mosquito bites. All throughout the year, we use SC Johnson products to keep our food fresh and store things in. But, probably the most important thing that we use is the Pledge, to keep all of our fine furniture and woodwork shining nice. You can find Pledge, in any grocery store or big box store for right around 3.99 for a 12 ounce can.

Ingredients
There are several things that make this polish up. I am not going into what each of them is made of but I will let you know what they are. There are such things as water and propellants such as; Butane, Isobutane, and Propane. There is a carrier that is called Isoparaffin and film formers called "Dimethicone" and "Polyimethylsiloxane". The Emulsifier is called Sorbitan Oleate and a preservative. There are also different kinds of fragrances that they make and this one is Outdoor Fresh fragrance.

Experience
I have been using Pledge for several years and I am willing to try it on any surface. I was a little worried about this on some of our fine furniture, but if you do as I did and try it out on a corner out of the way spot, you will feel a lot more comfortable when using this product. I have tried this on stainless steel appliances and our new granite counter tops. I was a little leery at first, but after seeing the results, I found this to be a lot cheaper than to purchase a special stainless and granite cleaner and polisher.
The best way to use this polish is by spraying it onto a rag instead of straight onto the surface, especially if you have glass that you do not want the overspray to get onto. This product has removed all fingerprints, any dirt smudges from the appliances. As for the wood furniture, all you have to do is spray the polish on your rag and rub it in until it slides very easily. You will notice a positive shine and not wet spots left by the rag.

Since, I polish on a regular basis, our furniture has a guard against and water spillage. When something gets spilled on the furniture, or any more fingerprints gets on the appliances, the next time that you go to clean them, the surface wipes clean a lot easier. Each time that I use this, I do not see any waxy build-up on the table tops. This polish will also hide any small scratches that you may have gotten on the surfaces. If you have a dull surface this polish will brighten it up just by rubbing it into the surface.

Conclusion
I highly recommend keeping a can of this on hand. It sprays out like a white thick foam and will help protect you fine furniture. This will also help with the nice aroma that it leaves after you get done cleaning.
