Last year, I kept seeing all these commercials for the LG Chocolate phone, and they looked so cool! I decided right away that I wanted to get my hands on one. Oh how I wish I would have shopped around now!
I have had a LOT of issues with my Chocolate. First off, when I brought the phone home and programmed it, I did so online. By doing it this way, I ended up with two different phone numbers somehow, so I had to call Verizon support to get it fixed. After waiting on hold for over five minutes, I got a live human being on the line and told them my issue. I also told him that I couldn't download any ringtones or music applications. All they said about it was "oh, that is a problem we've been having with the Chocolates". He did not give me a time the issue would be fixed, and did not give me a reason for the problem. One of the main reasons I went out and bought a Chocolate to begin with was to use it as an MP3 player, and now I was finding out that I couldn't even do that! I've had the phone for almost a year now, and they have yet to fix the issue with being able to download music and ringtones. Oh yeah, I can't send or receive picture messages either!
Chocolates suck in the winter. Don't even bother trying to use them if you have gloves on. (Even the real thin gloves) The touch screen won't recognize your touch unless your fingers are warm.
About the only good things I can say about this phone are the following:
1. I really dig the cool red lighting that it has. 2. I have tried to throw this thing on several occasions, and it is one tough cookie!

I am a proud owner of an LG Chocolate and I must say, sometimes I get the urge to just open a window and throw it out, as far as possible. I've had a 'white screen of death' five times already and sometimes the sound is not working like it should. I don't know about receiving and sending picture messages, since I haven't tried that yet. I only use my phone for text messaging, calling (of course) and listening to music. And since I don't download ringtones.. Oh yeah that's another thing, I can only change my text message ringtone (besides choosing one of the four that were already on it) But what bothers me the most is that after a year, it still looked like it was brand new, but stupid me had to accidentally drop it on the pavement. Ah well, that was my own fault... and I still love my phone.
