The Bottom Line: This is my miracle in a bottle- I hope they never change it because I love getting proofed/carded at age 46

I had been using Absolue for a year or so when a friend of mine called me and offered to give me an entire brand new bottle of ABSOLUE REPLENISHING LOTION.

I sat there in shock.

"Are you CRAZY?". I asked. This bottle retailed at the time for over $100.

I asked her why she did not just get a refund, but she was adamant that she did not want to do that and told me that she tried it once and she did not like it.

I was thrilled beyond belief. Absolue is amazing stuff.

WHAT IS THIS LOTION LIKE?

As I have said in my other review, LANCOME ABSOLUE is nothing short of miraculous. Not only did I start getting carded or proofed after using this in my 40's, but I also tried it on my construction worker husband and the results were amazing after only THREE DAYS. People had begun to ask him what happened to him after only THREE DAYS.

The difference between the lotion and the cream is heaviness. The lotion absorbs into the skin very quickly, whereas the cream tends to be a bit more emollient. Supposedly the lotion is lighter weight for people who tend toward breakouts and oily skin.

My friend claims she got breakouts, but after only one application I do not see how that is possible.

This product came in a GLASS pump bottle which I LOVE and the fragrance is a nice light citrus. It has 2.5 fl oz compared to the 1.75 oz of the cream.

I first found out about this stuff from a young woman who had a miraculous transformation in her skin- she no longer needed foundation like she had needed since age 12. So this product is not only for older women as it claims.

WHAT DID THIS LOTION DO FOR ME?

I find that I use the lotion for spring, summer and fall, and the cream for winter. I apply it once a day in either morning under makeup or at night before bedtime. I also apply it sparingly due to high cost, and it works beautifully. I make a container last over a year since I alternate cream and lotion.

In only three days I see-
Glowing complexion
Tighter skin
Light lifting appearance
Even skin

And tons of compliments.

FINAL COMMENTS

I would give you the ingredient list, but I did not get the box with this. However, I can tell you that it has SPF of 15,
I can also tell you that it has octocrylene 8% and avobenzone 3% and Octyl Salicyate 2%
