I found this book a bit unusual, but quite enjoyable. It takes place in a small town in New York state in 1966, on Halloween night. A group of four high school freshmen go to the local graveyard, led by one of them named Charlene, and attempt to raise from the dead a girl who died at age 13 almost 100 years before. Oddly, it works, and the girl, Lottie Barrett, comes to the town and begins to attend the local high school.      What starts as an innocent Halloween stunt turns …
