Cons: Cumbersome, unfriendly, just plain bad

I've been using Netscape for many years now. I recently "had" to make the switch to Microsoft Explorer and was dumbfounded at how stupid this web browser is set up. The most basic of tasks is a monumental chore in Explorer as compared to Netscape.

For example, saving bookmarks to the appropriate folder took me hours to figure out. Yes, hours and I consider myself web savvy. In Netscape, one can click on the "Go" button and see the last 10 or so sites that you have visited and instantly click on them to take you back. Does Explorer have this option.....NO! Urgh... The list goes on and on.

It almost seems that Microsoft went out of it's way to make Explorer cumbersome. I am very disapointed in Explorer. In fact, I downloaded the free Netscape to my work computer just so I wouldn't have to use Explorer.

There does seem to be this trend that more and more software will only work with Explorer and that doesn't surprise me. Microsoft is a monopoly and this is a good example how our computing will be screwed up if they have their way. Stop Microsoft!
