Just think--you just ran five miles and its hot out! You may be used to this type of exercise, or you just might be starting out. Either way, you know that a long well-deserved soak in a tub liberally sprinkled with dead sea salt is just the thing to make your muscles relax and to take the edge off. Minera Dead Sea Salts by the San Francisco Salt Company is just what the exercise doctor ordered.
The bag I received, most generously provided by the San Francisco Salt Company in exchange for an honest review, was of the fine variety--the salt was partly dendritic (very fine)--almost like table salt consistency. I ran my bath water and within seconds after plunging about a half a cup--I know that I should use more, but I wanted to enjoy these salts a number of times rather than using the entire bag at once as is recommended-- under the running facet, I was ready to enjoy. It took seconds to dissolve. I extended the amount of times I was able to use this salt by adding some magnesium flakes to it. I found that the combination of the magnesium sulfate and magnesium chloride together helped to ease my aching body. The result? Better quality of life with less aches and pains and better sleep patterns. Simply wonderful!
In addition to the scentless dead sea salt products, the San Francisco Salt Company also offers some absolutely refreshing aromatherapy soaks. I tried California Breeze and found this to be scented with a light flower blend of which I could not get enough. California Breeze Bath Salts 10lb Bag.
Bottom line? Whether or not you are purchasing this item for yourself of for a gift, you will not be disappointed. What results from frequent bathing in dead sea salt is relaxed muscles and soft skins. Win-win! Recommended. Diana Faillace Von Behren "reneofc"
