Just A Squirt Will Do: A Moen Classic Stainless 3942CSL Soap/Lotion Dispenser Review
Dec 24, 2012
After installing a new Moen classic stainless kitchen faucet, I decided i wanted to change out our chrome soap dispenser. As much as I liked the style of this soap dispenser, I hesitated to purchase it due to the price.
The Moen classic stainless soap/lotion dispenser is an extremely well constructed under the counter reservoir soap dispenser. A simple press down, pump action provides just the right amount of soap. The pump portion has a base thickness of 1-7/8"/48mm, sits 3-1/8" 79mm tall, and from pump base center to the end of the spout measures 2-3/4"/69mm. The mounting system installs on a 2-1/4"/57mm maximum deck thickness and requires a single 1-1/8" diameter hole.
Installation of the Moen classic stainless soap/lotion dispenser for me required removing the old dispenser, sanding the hole in our stainless steel sink to increase the size, and screwing the new dispenser in place. Then I attached and filled the reservoir, primed the pump using a cup of water, and put the pump into place.
The stylish modern Moen classic stainless soap/lotion dispenser has been in use for a few weeks, and it works consistently and as expected. The metal pump head is solid, built to last, and much higher quality than the cheap dispensers found at the local home improvement store. As for the price, I ended up purchasing with Amazon Visa points. I'm not sure I would've purchased the dispenser otherwise, but I'm definitely happy I did. If your looking for a quality modern style soap dispenser, this one is worthy of your consideration.
PROS: Lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing and finish defects High quality construction Simple to install
CONS: Kinda pricy
