A Chinese court has ordered Apple to pay $165,000 to eight Chinese writers and two companies who say unlicensed copies of their work were distributed through Apple's online store.The Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People's Court ruled Thursday that Apple violated the writers' copyrights by allowing applications containing their work to be distributed through its App Store, according to a court official. Apple to Launch 5th Generation iPad in March 2013
Apple may be releasing the fifth generation iPad in March 2013. The design of the new iPad is said to mirror that of the current iPad mini. It is expected to be 4mm shorter, 17mm narrower and 2mm thinner than the current 9.7-inch iPad. The source also mentions that the second generation iPad mini is in the pipeline, and will come with a Retina display.
