Ok taste, no noticible energy boost

Well, there's this. No Fear energy drink. It has a taste that's vaguely like fruit punch, which was ok. Not terribly great. But let's face it: you don't want this for the taste. You want the kidney-vibrating energy boost. Well, you might want to look elsewhere because I didn't notice one.

Now it's not like I'm some energy drink drinker; far from it. This is the first one I've had in about a year or so. I do drink lots of Diet Coke, but that's about it, and frankly I get the same amount of "boost" from the caffeine in that as I did from this, plus it's a lot cheaper.

So can I recommend this? Well, taste-wise it's ok, but I'm sure you can get the taste and the energy boost elsewhere for less money.
