Pros: Leaves heair healthy and shiny.

Cons: A little on the pricey side

The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this product as it leaves hair feeling healthy, smooth, and shiny.

I have been using Pantene Pro V Classic Clean 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner for nearly ten years now and will continue to do so as long as I keep getting the same results. Pantene advertises that this formula increases the shininess of hair 85% as compared to using their shampoo only. This formula is best suited for normal hair and not so easily managed locks. Pantene’s main selling point for this shampoo is that is leaves hair looking and feeling silky and healthy and having a nice shine. It is also able to help difficult hair to become more manageable. It is safe enough for permed or color treated hair.

From my experience, I have found these statements about Pantene to be true. Many years ago I had color treated hair that was approximately two feet long and was prone to split ends and having a dull appearance. I used this product every other night and within a few weeks I found that not only did my hair shine and feel stronger, but the color treatment appeared to be more natural. I still had some split ends but they were hardly noticeable anymore. Having hair this long it difficult to take care of and Pantene made it much easier and more gratifying. I never experienced any oily or greasy residue. I did find that if I used too much of the mix, sometimes my hair did feel a little weighted down. I did not see much improvement in the manageability although I would describe my hair as being pretty manageable to work with in the first place.

Over the last few years, I have worn my hair around my shoulders and have still continued to use this product. I no longer color my hair and still continue to have the same results. I never have any problems with my hair being weighted down although with less hair, it is easier to determine how much to use. The texture of my hair feels soft and silky as a result of using Pantene.

One of the features that I like best about the Pantene is that it takes half the time to wash your hair as the shampoo and condition are both in the mix. I have a busy schedule and I appreciate any extra bonus time I can find in the day.

Using Pantene is simple as you take a proportionate amount and massage into wet hair. A good thick lather is always achieved. I like to leave the Pantene in for a few minutes before rinsing to allow the moisturizer to get in throughout my hair. It washes out very easily from the hair and takes all of the tangles out.

I have been very happy with Pantene Pro V Classic Clean 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner and will continue to use this product. It is a little pricey at $7.50 but the higher quality is worth it.
