This is one of those products that I am just amazed that it was invented. It's very well designed, and it really keeps the diapers safely tucked away and prevents their odor from spreading. The pail is also amazingly capacious and can hold many days worth of diapers. It is fairly sturdy, although we've had some minor issues with its proper closing after the removal of the diaper bag. This could have been largely avoided if the pail walls were thicker or made of a stronger material. However, this …

I ordered this for my daughter and her 12-month-old son. Like most toddlers, he goes through several diapers a day and has a high volume of dirty, messy, smelly diapers. The diaper genie is easy to use-- just hit the foot pedal and drop the diaper in. Sometimes you have to poke it down but that's no big deal. It is easy to empty, and it definitely keeps the dirty diapers from smelling. It also keeps them away from wandering dogs and wandering toddlers.    It is easy to empty …
