Prestige cosmetics is a drugstore line of beauty and make up products that I don't normally purchase. Not because I have heard any negative reviews of their products...but just because this line seems almost too affordable (cheap) to be quality. Boy was I wrong...well, at least wrong about their waterproof eyeliner.

Being somewhat of a eyeliner connoisseur, I have tried almost every eyeliner out there. Liquid eyeliner, pencils, pots, brushes, creams, shadows...you name it...I've put it on my eyelids. And with this self-proclaimed title of "eyeliner connoisseur", I have developed a love/hate relationship with trying new products. Typically I buy a new eyeliner, the following problems occur: break the tip on my eye, have the product go on crumbly, smear it all over my eyelid or realize that my eyelids have sweat or gotten oily and I have a black smudgy halo around my eyes. After fighting and deliberating with countless products, once I find an eyeliner I adore...I am EXTREMELY loyal.

After all of these trials and tribulations with eyeliners, I can honestly say...Prestige's waterproof eyeliner is amazing! It's super long wearing, glides on silky smooth, and doesn't smudge...AT ALL! and the best part is...it's $5. No really. I have a makeup drawer full of expensive (never to be worn again) eyeliners and this one is the BEST. hands down.

I can't wait to try this eyeliner! I have tied soooo many "expensive" liners (compared to this one), and none of them really work. It's so embarrassing when you think you look good and then you realize your eyeliner is all over your eyes except where you put it! I will buy this today during lunch time!

Sounds like a must-have! Now if I can only figure out which mascara to use that won't smudge and clump, I'd be in business! What do you think about Cover Girl Lash Blast? Ever tried it?

I haven't tried Cover Girl's Lash Blast--primarily because I am married to l'Oreal voluminous mascara in carbon black. I'll write a review. Its simply the best mascara out there (not counting Dior Show which I haven't tried yet...)
