*Wonderful* For Wonder Woman Fans!

I never got the original 70s Mego "World's Greatest Super Heroes" Wonder Woman action figure because it either looked strange to me as a kid, or I couldn't find it in the stores (I did get the 12" Mego Wonder Woman doll that was much nicer). Anyway, I discovered this RETRO ACTION DC WONDER WOMAN on Amazon, which is supposed to pay homage to those of my childhood, and so I decided to buy it.

The action figure comes in the blister package with nice retro illustrations and the doll has multiple points of articulation. Since I don't plan on taking it out of the packaging -- I've turned into an anal-retentive adult who would rather let a toy stay in the package in pristine condition, rather than take it out and play with it -- I can't comment on how tight the joints are and whether or not the doll will hold poses. I was reading other reviews on different heroes from this collection and some were saying that the action figures don't hold their poses like the originals did.

However, WONDER WOMAN comes with a cloth costume (the stars are on the front and back on the bottoms) and though it looks like a tank-top like bathing suit, the top part is actually just points--albeit higher on the torso than in the comics. She also comes with plastic tiara (held on by an elastic black band that goes around the back of her head, bracelets, magic/golden lasso that attaches to Velcro side holder, red boots with white stripe, and real hair.

The face paint is nice looking and the hair is in a retro-flip. No educational value but it's nice to have in one's collection, particularly if you're a Wonder Woman fan. A nice (sort-of) blast from the past!

See the pictures I posted above.
