I first starting using Smashbox Photo Finish at the suggestion of a friend, who also happens to be a MAC employee. Yes, the product is so good a competitor was suggesting it over their own products.
I decided to go with the Photo Finish Light formula because it is 60% water based, so it's great for my oily skin. It has oil abosorbers and light reflectors that keep my skin looking fresh all day without any shine, even without powder. There's lots of vitamins and antioxidants that are supposed to help with fine lines and even out your skin tone.
The only thing that keeps me from giving this product a "+5" is the packaging. According to the website, the pump is designed so no air touches the product. However, it also means it's impossible to get ALL the product out, so you're paying for some (rather expensive) product you'll never use. They now have a 2 ounce tube that I might try on my next purchase. At Sephora, the 2 ounce is only about $12 more than the 1 ounce and you can actually get every last drop out of the tube, so it seems like a much better deal.
I've used other primers in the past, but Photo Finish is the one I stick with because it makes my skin look and feel fantastic all day long. The feeling reminds me of the way my skin texture is after a facial- smooth and soft. I HIGHLY recommend you give it a try.

Sounds like a great product! Do you mind me asking how much it costs?

I buy most of my makeup at Sephora. They sell the 1oz for $36 & the 2 oz for $49. They also have a "travel size" for $16 I think. It's a bit pricey, but you don't need much. With almost-daily use the 1oz lasts me about 5 months. The nice thing about Sephora is they'll give you samples to take home of just about anything, so you can always try it out before forking out all that money. If you're a fan of high end makeup, become a Beauty Insider- the perks are pretty darn good. Hmm... maybe it's time for a Sephora review, huh?
