The Bottom Line: This is a great sugarfree gum that has a long lasting sweet peppermint flavor.

One of the things that I hate most about gum is that the flavor is often gone in a short period of time and the texture becomes hard. After a few moments it feels as though you are chewing flavorless piece of wax. Stride advertises that they have a long lasting flavor and I decided to give it a try. I enjoy a nice minty flavor so I chose the Stride Sweet Peppermint Chewing Gum. Each pack includes 12 pieces of gum. Each piece of gum is about 1.5" x .5" and is considered to be one serving.

The flavor is the Stride Sweet Peppermint Chewing Gum is relatively strong although is not overwhelming to the taste buds. It has a great peppermint flavoring with a hint of sweetness that balances the "bite" that this mint tends to give off. It has a little extra special zing to it rather than just the plain peppermint flavoring. The flavor of the gum has lasted up to an hour that is phenomenal for gum. The flavor does fade in time but it will last through and entire chewing session. I usually end up tossing the gum prior to the flavor disappearing. My mouth is left feeling fresh and clean as if I just brushed my teeth. It is even able to get rid of "garlic breath." A single piece by itself is sufficient but you cannot make the best bubbles if that is what you are going for. If you are looking for good bubble potential, you will need to have more than one piece. The only thing I do not like about this gum is that sometimes feels as though there is a slight powdery residue left behind on my teeth but this is typical of most gums. The good news though, is that this residue is not sugar that is trying to rot your teeth.

This sugar fee formula has 30% fewer calories than other sugared gum and calorie content has been reduced from 5 to 3.5. Based on a 2,000 calories diet, this gum contains the following:

This gum can help prevent you from getting into the munchies and consuming many sugary and unhealthy treats. Its long lasting rich flavor make it a nice and tasteful way to keep the mind and mouth busy. They also offer other flavors such as spearmint, cinnamon, and regular peppermint. This product can be found at most supermarkets, drug store, and other retail locations for about $1.49. Buying in bulk will save you additional money.
