1 review about Tears of a Lamb: Volume 1

A high school drama manga

  • Nov 6, 2010
I found this first volume of this manga series while browsing through the shelves of my local library, and I checked it out to see what it was like.

The main character is Kei, and she's a high school freshman. She wants to get into the apartment of her classmate, Kanzaki. It turns out she's trying to find something she lost in that apartment a couple of tenants earlier. This ends up being the starting point for a friendship between Kei and Kanzaki. They also both have gone through trauma in their lives. Can these two friends help each other get over these demons from the past?

Overall, Tears of a Lamb was a decent manga with an interesting story. The art may be a bit more on the simplistic side, but I thought it worked for the storytelling that's being used for the series. I really wouldn't have any objections to reading future volumes of this manga series if I were to come across them at the library.

I wrote this review after checking out a copy of this manga volume through the King County Library System.
