Pros: somewhat educational

Cons: imitative behavior

The Big Comfy Couch is an enjoyable show, my daughter likes it but it is not one of her favorites. The characters are cute but in my own opinion, annoying. It does encourage reading and go over feelings, time, and other educational values but it is not as educational as many other shows such as Sesame Street or Blues Clues. Not only is it not as educational I do find some subtle ideas that may encourage children to try at home. I know I personally do not want my daughter to watch and possiby be encouraged to stand on the furniture or shove toys in the cushions. Since it is not the most educational show I do not encourage it, I leave it up to my daughter who would much rather watch Blue's Clues or Franklin.
