Entertaining insight into the perils of on-line dating

This is an entertaining if somewhat quirky book, the tale of one man's search for love on the net. It almost reads as autobiographical, but it is stated as fiction, so perhaps the reader can decide where reality lies.

At the heart of the novel is a search for love and companionship, and in the process we find out quite a bit about how our protagonist feels about the opposite sex - perhaps a little to much! Just as in Nick Hornby's novels, the female reader may find herself wondering is she wants to know all this, but I imagine that male readers will find the character's honesty refreshing and will possibly identify with the sentiment.

It is very much a novel with a modern take on a modern issue - how do we find someone when our lives are so busy and full? It is entertaining and a quick read, and clearly the author has given considerable thought to the matter,

This book sounds fun, so why the +1 rating? I really like Nick Hornby's characters or any other author that writes characters you can actually relate to, so this book sounds right up my alley. Thanks for sharing, I'm going to add it on my TBR list :)
