Maybe ok if you burn to a portable hard drive but useless if you burn to discs

This software installed quickly and easily. It even automatically updated to the most current version. That being said I think they really need to release a new update that addresses some of the issues.

I found this software mostly useless for several reasons.

1. This software often freezes up on the initial loading screen. Sometimes if you wait ten minutes it will start working and other times you must Ctrl-Alt-Del and abort the process. I have a new laptop that is running windows 7 and it meets the system requirements so I don't believe that it's my system.

2. This software is much slower than others that I have tried. I have attempted several times to backup my system and each time it gives me an estimated completion time of over 13 hours. I would expect 3-5 hours but 13 hours isn't reasonable.

3. If you are burning your backup to discs then you must monitor the process for the entire time. Otherwise the backup will cancel automatically after 10 minutes if you don't load a new disc in time. This is my biggest complaint about this software and the reason that I find it useless. I don't understand why it would take that long and who in their right mind would want to set and watch it complete for 13 hours. It doesn't even popup on the screen and tell you that the disc is finished. Poor design in my opinion.

If you plan on creating your backup on a portable drive then this program might be ok but I wouldn't purchase it with plans on burning to discs. I expect you will be frustrated if you do.

The product page on Amazon doesn't give the full system requirements so I will list them for anyone that might need them.

Windows 7 / Vista / XP Home Edition or Professional
FAT16/32, NTFS
Pentium Processor 1 GHz or faster
512 MB RAM
1 GB RAM (if using nonstop backup)
