Byblos is my favorite Lebanese restaurant in town. I'm sorry the others had less than stellar experiences. I have been going there for all of the 20 years they have been open. Ilham and her staff are very good. The food is simply amazing! The hummus is the best in town, without question. It's got a more acidic taste than others, but I like that. The tabouli is amazing and always fresh. The beef shwarma is the best "sandwich" on the menu and her daily specials are always wonderful. I ALWAYS take out of town guests there and they are amazed. It's home cooking, Lebanese style and I hope they never close. Yes, they staff sometimes chats with people at the cash register. It's called that getting to know your customers. If you're in THAT big of hurry that you can't wait a few minutes, go to McDonald's.
