While I think some of the things they sell are a little overpriced, Dairy Queen has both good food and good frozen treats. Between getting a chicken strip basket and a cookie dough Blizzard, you can hardly go wrong with the DQ.

DQ is kinda far away from where I live, but when I do get to eat there I always get the chicken basket because it's the ONLY place that serves chicken WITH cream gravy in Indiana. Ask for it anywhere else and people think you're speaking a foreign language.

Indeed the chicken strips with white gravy are delicious. Given what you said about chicken and white gravy, something tells me that one of these days, I should travel to a reputable fried chicken place in the South and get fried chicken with white gravy.

Well, when we lived in Texas I was so used to sending someone out to Whataburger for the same thing. It was like five minutes from our house. Whataburger doesn't exist here though, like a lot of things. Of course I wouldn't say Whataburger is the best thing ever, but you know, when I wanted that I could always get it. And, pretty much every sit down restaurants had fried chicken with cream gravy, or chicken fried steak, or chicken fried chicken. I'm not sure those exist up here either.
