If you are driving up Hillhurt in Los Feliz, you can't help but notice Desert Rose.

For one, the outside corner of the restaurant is decorated with a giant glass rose that lights up! Not to mention, there are nearly thirty tables that fill up the outside patio.

My girlfriend and I love chicken. We've eaten chicken all over Los Angeles and Desert Rose's chicken is now tied as our all-time favorite (Along with The Redwood Bar & Grill) Did I mention the chicken dish comes with warm carrot salad AND sweet potato fries? OMG!!!

The prices can't be beat. (We shared a house salad and chicken dish for only $23) and both portions were quite hefty! Don't miss this hidden gem with an eclectic menu and many great dessert options! Oh ... and they have a bar for you lushes!
